Ihr könnt Texte zu ökonomischen Themen schreiben oder Videomaterial (Vorträge & Kurzfilme) sichten und bewerten.

Die Plurale Uni soll eine Internetplattform werden, die alternative Ansätze der VWL mit ihren unterschiedlichen Perspektiven, Schwerpunkten und Methoden für ein breites Publikum verfügbar macht und verständlich aufbereitet. Dies wird einerseits über Texte und Infografiken, die verschiedene Denkschulen vorstellen, als auch über Formate wie Videos und Verlinkungen geschehen. Die Seite wird davon leben, dass sich viele Leute einbringen. Deshalb brauchen wir Eure Unterstützung! Momentan suchen wir Mithilfe, um Material zu sichten und Themenseiten zu erstellen.
Dafür gibt es für Einzelpersonen und Lokalgruppen mehrere Möglichkeiten:
1. Ihr könnt als Lokalgruppe (oder auch einzeln) einen “digitalen Lesekreis” gründen, Materialien sichten (z.B. Videos ansehen), das Material bewerten und dazu einen kleinen Teasertext schreiben oder
2. zu einem konkreten Thema eurer Wahl eine Seite erstellen (von A wie Akkumulation bis Z wie Zins).
Hier im Konkreten:
1) Sichtung von Materialien:
Worum geht es?
Wir haben eine große Sammlung von Online-Materialien, die in der Pluralen Uni verlinkt / bereitgestellt werden sollen: Videos, va. von Vorträgen, aber auch Kurzfilme, Radiosendungen oder Texte. Diese Materialien wollen gesichtet werden: dabei soll beurteilt werden, ob sie für die Seite verwendet werden können, aus welcher Theorieperspektive sie sprechen, welche Themen sie abdecken und wie schwer oder zugänglich sie sind.
Wie könnt Ihr mitmachen?
Ihr könnt Euch als Gruppe oder auch einzeln Materialien zu einem Thema oder einer Theorieschule ansehen. Ihr bekommt von uns Pakete mit Videos, Webseiten oder Texten: es gibt kleine Pakete (~bis 3 Stunden Videomaterial), große Pakete (~ bis 6 Stunden), Themen wären zum Beispiel: multiple Krise, Postwachstum, Klimawandel, Handel, Finanzmärkte, Geldpolitik, Inflation, Schulden, Globale Ungleichheit; bzw. Post-Keynesiaische oder Neoklassische Theorie, Marxismus, etc.. Ihr könnt auch Überraschungspakete anfordern.
Ihr bekommt natürlich ein Formular mit, das beschreibt, was ihr alles an den Materialien kommentieren sollt.

2) Themenseiten erstellen
Worum geht es?
Auf den Themenseiten sollen einzelne Themen und Begriffe auf diverse und kreative Weise beleuchtet werden. Mögliche Themen wären: Wettbewerb, Effizienz, Schulden, Flucht & Migration, Akkumulation, Ungleichheit, Eigentum, Rationalität, Solidarische Ökonomie etc.
Wie könnt Ihr mitmachen?
Ihr habt Lust, was zu einem konkreten Thema zu schreiben, ein Video zu drehen oder verfügt schon über Materialien, die Ihr bereit stellen könnt? Habt Ihr Euch in der Lokalgruppe schon mit einem Thema beschäftigt und Lust, die Debatten zusammenzufassen? Dann seid Ihr bei den Themenseiten richtig. Hier ist Euer Kreativität freien Lauf gelassen. Ihr könnt einen Text schreiben, aus Sicht einer oder mehrerer Theorieschulen auf das Thema, und Materialien (Videos, Konzepte von Ringvorlesungen, Abschlussarbeiten) integrieren.

Dear pluralists
The Plurale Uni (=pluralist university – working title) is going to a be a web platform that will collect, organize, and explain different approaches in economics and thereby provide access to a pluralist economics education to a broad audience. This will be done on the one hand by texts and infographics that introduce and compare different schools of thought. On the other hand there will be short explanation videos as well as links to already existing materials.
The page stands and falls with the participation and commitment from the international pluralist community. That is why we need your support. At the moment, we are searching for support in reviewing online materials and in writing texts on a topic of your choice.
If you are keen on participating, you can do so in different ways:
1. You can found a “digital reading group” together with your local group, some friends or by yourself. There you would assess existing materials (i.e. watch videos), and evaluate them and learn something new in the process.2. Lastly, you can write your own “theme page” on a topic of your choice and interest (From A like accumulation to Z like zero interest rate policy)
More concretely this is what we are looking for:
1) Review of materials
What is it about?
We have compiled a huge list of online materials that shall be integrated into the pluralist university. There are many video lectures, but also short clips, radio programs, and texts. These materials have to be screened and evaluated, i.e. by examining whether they are suitable, but also in terms of which school of thought they represent, which topics they address and how difficult or accessible they are.
How can you participate?
You can screen – as a group or individually – materials concerning a particular school of thought or a particular topic. We will provide you with small packages with videos, websites and texts. There will be small packages (around 3 hours of videos), and larger ones (around 6 hours of videos). Possible topics would be: multiple crises, degrowth, climate change, trade, financial markets, monetary policy, inflation, global inequalities, debt, or the different schools of thought such as Post Keynesian Economics, Marxism, etc. However, you can also go for a surprise package.
Also, we will provide you with a form with the criteria for evaluation.

2) Creation of a theme site
What is it about?
The theme sites will present specific topics and concepts in various ways and in a creative fashion. Possible topics would be: competition, efficiency, debt, migration, accumulation, inequality, property, rationality, solidarity economy etc.
How can you participate?
You are keen on writing something or make a video on a concrete topic? You and your group already have materials that you would like to share or you have debated a specific issue to great detail and now would like to wrap up your discussion? Then you could definitely work on a theme site. Here you will find a lot of space for your creativity. You can write a text on a topic based on the understanding of one or more theories and integrate existing materials such as videos, lecture series, papers and dissertations.
